My Acupuncture Path
I was traveling through life on my way to medical school and a future in emergency medicine or neurosurgery. My Junior year I spent 6 months in Australia attending the University in Adelaide, South Australia. I fed Kangaroos and photographed Wombats. On a break I went to a surfing boot camp and spent a week traveling the coast from Sydney to Byron Bay. We would Surf all morning - driving to a new spot over lunch - surf all afternoon- eat like wild dogs and crash in our tents. Awaking at dawn to surf alongside dolphins, following their cue to just go for it, leaving fear and uncertainty behind- Surfing started a change in me.
Disillusionment with the established Treatment of disease in patients and Discovery that Acupuncture could rid me of problems no MD in the US had touched with standard practice I found myself questing for resonance. I was looking for a way to help others as I had been healed, as bodymind united.

New Office at Copley
February marks a transition month in my practice. Closing out three years of seeing clients at a spa in Back Bay, I am moving to a space above the New Balance store on Boylston Street. It is a suite shared by several massage therapists and acupuncturists. In this new location I will be providing Acupuncture in a no frills presentation. Just fixing ouches and calming nerves.
