Testimonials

“Anastasia has had a great influence on me personally and professionally. As a sports professional, Anastasia's work has helped me stay on top of my game and be ready for whatever life throws at me. Her approach has made me feel comfortable when I am receiving treatment and I would recommend her to anyone in need of her services.” R.K.

“Anastasia is a true professional. She customizes her treatments to each patient's unique needs. Anastasia is very knowledge about her craft, as well as general medicine / biology as a whole. I have personally experienced great results from Anastasia. You can truly expect both immediate results and long term benefits. Choose Anastasia as your acupuncturist and you will not be disappointed.” M.L.

“I highly recommend Anastasia to anyone seeking acupuncture for sports related injuries. Last year I developed a nasty hip injury about 2.5 months out from the London Marathon. The injury wasn't responding to rest so I went to see Anastasia. She very quickly identified that it was likely a strained psoas and recommended active release to help expedite the healing process. Very soon after I was back to running and eventually PR'd (Personal Record) in the London Marathon. I may not have been able to run that marathon if it wasn't for her treatment.” C.H.

"Anastasia was recommended to me by my coach when training for my first triathlon. A year earlier, I almost couldn't walk due to pain in my foot from running. I did physical therapy and stopped running for about 6 months. Needless to say, when I started running again I had all the same symptoms come back. This was my first experience with acupuncture and I feel like a complete convert. Anastasia's provides constant insight into various issues which I incorporate into my training and health regimine.” N.S.

“Anastasia is truly a miracle worker. I don't know how she does it, but she manages to help or fix everything I see her for. I was convinced of Ms. Hall's magical powers when I saw her after my first Half Ironman. I was so sore and stiff after the race that I was limping and I could barely bend my knees. Within the first treatment it was a night and day recovery. I couldn't believe how quick my legs recovered and loosened up. I have been a regular to Anastasia's office every since. If you are considering doing acupuncture then Anastasia Hall is the person to see. I have referred numerous friends and clients and they all loved her and the results.” A.K.

“I had scoliosis surgery (spinal fusion) 12 years ago, and have chronic back pain in my lower back, my neck and my shoulder blade. I also have a hard time falling asleep, and staying asleep, and I have nightmares pretty consistently. After seeing Anastasia just twice, I was falling asleep faster, sleeping through the night, and not having nightmares. I've also had much less back pain, and the worst pain (in my shoulder blade) has not returned at all.” -A.C.

“Anastasia is an angel! Her knowledge and implementation of acupuncture to heal the body is unmatched!Anyone considering acupuncture for the first time will be in excellent hands! If you have had acupuncture before and are looking for a change, you will not believe what you were missing! She truly is the best! -M.M.

My Acupuncture Path

I was traveling through life on my way to medical school and a future in emergency medicine or neurosurgery. My Junior year I spent 6 months in Australia attending the University in Adelaide, South Australia. I fed Kangaroos and photographed Wombats. On a break I went to a surfing boot camp and spent a week traveling the coast from Sydney to Byron Bay. We would Surf all morning - driving to a new spot over lunch - surf all afternoon- eat like wild dogs and crash in our tents. Awaking at dawn to surf alongside dolphins, following their cue to just go for it, leaving fear and uncertainty behind- Surfing started a change in me.

Disillusionment with the established Treatment of disease in patients and Discovery that Acupuncture could rid me of problems no MD in the US had touched with standard practice I found myself questing for resonance. I was looking for a way to help others as I had been healed, as bodymind united.

New Office at Copley

February marks a transition month in my practice. Closing out three years of seeing clients at a spa in Back Bay, I am moving to a space above the New Balance store on Boylston Street. It is a suite shared by several massage therapists and acupuncturists. In this new location I will be providing Acupuncture in a no frills presentation. Just fixing ouches and calming nerves.
